In his book, 1776, author David McCullough noted “...at such times many were being cast in roles seemingly beyond their experience and capacities ... George Washington was Commander in Chief at only 43, John Hancock was President of the Continental Congress at 39, John Adams was forty, and Thomas Jefferson a mere 32.” Together, we will learn the stories of these, and many more, remarkable and resilient men, benefitting from their example.
