National Park Service Drops All Charges Against Landmark Events!
“I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.” —Psalm 121:1-2
ith gratitude and joy, we share the news that United States Magistrate Judge Joseph Wilkinson has dismissed all charges in relation to the National Park Service’s Federal case against Landmark Events!
Your prayers, notes of encouragement and financial contributions have been crucial during this nearly year-long ordeal. Your support has enabled this little ministry to stand fast against those that would usurp your constitutional rights while rewriting history. Thank you!
A very special note of gratitude to Peter Thomson and Bill Treeby of Stone Pigman Walther Wittmann, LLC. Having gone through the initial pleading without legal representation, I can’t imagine where we would be without these men. They have acted with professionalism, compassion and dogged determination in our defense.
The story of how we met Mr. Thomson and Mr. Treeby is just one of a long string of remarkable providences God orchestrated to bring us this victory. Maybe someday we can share them with you. Until then, be encouraged that our Lord indeed works all things for our good and his glory.
“Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast. I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.” —Psalm 57:1-2
We’re off to Virginia for our Shenandoah Valley Tour and then down to Louisiana for the D-Day and Great Battles Tour with a spring in our step and a song of praise on our lips as we continue to recount God’s mighty works throughout history. Hope to see you at a Landmark Event soon!
Onward, Kevin Turley,
President, Landmark Events
