104 Souls
hey arrived as winter descended upon New England. The passengers of the Mayflower had crossed a dangerous ocean only to face cold, hunger, disease, inadequate shelter, and death. By spring, nearly half of their company was gone.
Yet Plymouth survived.
Their story is not one of superhuman men and women conquering adversity by sheer determination. It is the story of ordinary Christians called to extraordinary faithfulness—working, praying, burying their dead, caring for one another, and trusting the providence of God when they could not possibly know the outcome.

On November 18, the anniversary of their landing at Plymouth, we will stand on the ground where that little settlement took root and we will remember those who endured.
Join us for the Plymouth Pilgrim Tour November 16–21 in Plymouth, Massachusetts, as we remember the faith, sacrifice, and providence behind the Pilgrim story—and give thanks to the God who sustained them.
