’all, Tennessee’s history runs deep, and we’re tickled to invite you to two unforgettable tours that’ll take you right to the heart of it! As the western theater of the Civil War, our Volunteer State saw more battles than any other besides Virginia. Come along as we explore the stories and places that shaped our past.

Chattanooga Eastern Tennessee Tour
(July 17–19)
Step back in time with us in Chattanooga, where we’ll walk the hallowed grounds of Lookout Mountain’s “Battle Above the Clouds” and Chickamauga’s fierce fields. We’ll visit Tunnel Hill to relive the daring Great Locomotive Chase, then soak in the views from the Tennessee River aboard the charming Southern Belle paddle–wheeler and high atop the historic Missionary Ridge Local train. It’s a journey through sacrifice and bravery that’ll leave you inspired.

Shiloh Western Tennessee Tour
(September 26-27)
Join us out west as the remarkable Military Historian Bill Potter guides us through the storied battlefields of Shiloh and Brice’s Crossroads, sharing tales of valor that echo through time. Rising Historian Increase Zimmerman, a 2024 Future of History Symposium alum and Corinth native, will lead an insider’s tour of historic Corinth, Mississippi. To top it off, the Zimmerman family kindly invites us all for a home–cooked supper and warm fellowship on Friday evening—true Southern hospitality at its finest!
