Join Landmark Events and living historian John Huffman for an immersive journey into the formative days of Kentucky’s frontier. Trailblazers of Kentucky explores the courage, conflict, and providence that shaped the early Commonwealth as pioneers pushed westward to build new lives in a rugged and uncertain land. Together we will visit Fort Boonesborough, Old Fort Harrod, historic Danville, and the Perryville Battlefield, where stories of endurance, leadership, faith, and sacrifice come vividly to life through John’s engaging interpretation.

Bastions and Bulwarks is a hands-on family history tour of Alabama’s Gulf Coast, where children and parents explore the forts and stories that shaped the region. From the battleship USS Alabama to Fort Condé, Fort Mims, Fort Blakeley, and Fort Morgan, we will walk ramparts, run through earthworks, and learn how geography and leadership influenced history. Our visit to Magnolia Cemetery adds personal stories of sacrifice and faith, all taught by our Chief Historian, Dr. Bill Potter, who brings the past vividly to life.
