Freedom: The Remedy for Tour Trauma

Freedom: The Remedy for Tour Trauma

Does the thought of going on a tour evoke images of being chained to a group, following a flag through a maze of museums and hustling by things you really want to see so you can get to the bus on time? That’s not our idea of fun. At Landmark Events, we place a premium on your freedom and build in loads of flexibility on all tours.

Car Tours: Flexible & Affordable

Consider one of our Car Tours, the ultimate in flexibility and frugality. Drive your own vehicle and meet us at the various venues to receive accurate biblical interpretation from our outstanding guides. You will have time to take a “house tour” if available, explore areas of your interest and maybe stop in the gift shop before heading out to the next location. Want to skip a venue? Feel free, we will let you know how to reunite with the group when you are ready. We take care of the reservations and payments, provide you a detailed schedule and a list of study prep materials for those serious history students! You won’t miss a word with our wireless headsets that allow you to peruse the area while we tell you all about it.

All the details are taken care of, so you and your family can be immersed in the experience of learning history from a Christian worldview.”— Tom W.

Discover the enduring legacy of the Tyler family on a three-day Virginia tour led by Bill Potter, visiting ancestral homes and historic landmarks tied to figures like John Tyler while exploring themes of leadership, heritage, and generational purpose.

Experience Michigan in miniature on a three-day guided tour with Landmark Events and Bill Potter, tracing its development from the Northwest Ordinance through waves of Dutch and German immigration to the thriving communities of Muskegon, Oceana County, and Grand Rapids.

I liked the fact that we could ride separately to the different venues. If we didn’t want to visit one, we didn’t have to. Or we could leave it early or stay longer. I liked the freedom we had to explore on our own or with the group. This tour went above and beyond my expectations. I can’t wait to participate in another one in the future.”— Carol R.
