This trip will encourage your faith as our guides reveal the truth of God’s creation found in this gigantic remnant of the Biblical Flood.
Dinner Cruise on Lake Mead
Tours of Hoover Dam
We will start with an afternoon trip out of Las Vegas to the magnificent Hoover Dam where we will tour the depths of the dam including the massive turbines that power much of the southwest. An evening dinner cruise on the paddle-wheeler Desert Princess is the perfect way to get to know your fellow rafters a bit and enjoy the Hoover Dam from a unique perspective. The following morning you are off on a scenic flight to the Bar 10 guest ranch on the legendary Arizona strip. Horseback riding, horseshoe pitching, skeet shooting, and other activities are available for our fun-filled day at the Bar 10. In the evening, ICR Geologist Dr. Tim Clarey will get us oriented in the geology of the Grand Canyon to give you a head start in understanding the evidences of a young earth you will see throughout the trip. Overnight accommodation options include sleeping in a Conestoga covered wagon, outside under a canopy of stars on the beautiful deck or indoors in the lodge bunkrooms.
The next morning, an exhilarating helicopter ride will whisk us to the Canyon floor where the lower 95 miles of Grand Canyon are explored for two and a half days. Finishing at Lake Mead, the last few miles are traveled by jet-boat to meet an air-conditioned motor coach for the return to Las Vegas, arriving by 4:00 PM on Thursday, June 23.
