Event Highlights
The Grand Canyon is one of the most amazing features on the planet, descending over a mile into the earth and as much as 18 miles in width. Spend the week encouraging your faith as our guides reveal the truth of God’s creation found in this gigantic remnant of Noah’s Flood, and have a load of fun in the process!
We have chartered two rafts from Western River Expeditions in order to provide you with a safe, fun, and informative experience that is unique to all other tours offered in the Canyon. We have customized Western’s standard tour by adding Dr. Clarey to help us understand the geology, including park service fees and suggesting modesty guidelines on dress for guests and guides (shirts and shorts, no bare midriffs, modest in coverage, style and appearance) to maximize your comfort and enjoyment. Please keep this in mind when looking over the outfitters guide. *If you have questions regarding exactly what is included, call Landmark Events at (210) 885-9351.
Big Horn Ram down for a drink!
Scenic flight to Marble Canyon
We believe Western River Expeditions is the best professional outfitter on the Colorado river and have contracted them to provide the rafts, crew and all the gear for our time in the Canyon. As mentioned above, we have customized Western’s standard trip to give you a uniquely Christian perspective in the Canyon both in interpretation and experience as much as possible. Our guides have been incredibly competent and hospitable on previous trips and we know they will serve you well. We have included links from Western’s website to give you helpful information on what to expect on the river, how to pack, physical capability and many other facets of the trip. You will also see a suggested outfitters guide that they have assembled for river trips. Please understand you do not need to rush out and buy everything they suggest, nor are you required to purchase through Western. It’s likely to be around 100 degrees in the Canyon when we are there and lows in the 70’s. If you have questions please call us at (210) 885-9351 and we can talk it through.
